What’s in a name? Chelsea and Fulham Dentist… a dental clinic in Parsons Green!

When Imran and I opened the doors for business at Chelsea and Fulham Dentist for the first time (albeit a black, wooden door that couldn’t be differentiated from our neighbouring flats), we were bursting that youthful pride!

We were sure that our dental clinic in Parsons Green was going to be a success – the best dentists South West London had seen. We were driven, motivated and (we assumed) experienced. We also thought we had a secret weapon, our name – Chelsea and Fulham Dentist.

I am a born and bred Londoner. Imran is a Leicester boy by birth, and though we grew up with many miles and an M25 between us, we both agreed – and still believe – that Chelsea is one of the most prestigious and beautiful parts of our fair city. So, when we were deciding on what to call our clinic, we truly thought we had ‘made it’ by mentioning our neighbours in Chelsea.

We were so proud of our almost Chelsea location that we quite happily made the addition to the name! We also believed that as long as we had ‘Chelsea’ and ‘Dentist’ in the name that we would be sorted and people would flock to the clinic door.

6 years on, I laugh at that naïve, borderline arrogant thought process in choosing the clinic name. Yes, we have patients from Chelsea and Fulham and Parsons Green. But they do not come to visit us because of our name!

There is nothing special about the name “Chelsea and Fulham Dentist’. Truth be told, we are often confused with other nearby clinics that have similar names. There certainly is something different about the clinic itself though….

We always try to provide the best care possible. We are an uncompromising, family run dental practice which means the service, as well as the dentistry, is personal. We truly want our patients to have the best experience, and that shines through from the dentists, support staff and surroundings.
