What does Invisalign do?
Invisalign Fulham is a system of plastic aligners that must be worn over the teeth. They are barely visible to other people and, therefore, an extremely discreet method for getting the smile you want to achieve. The aligners push the teeth into the positions they need to be in to give you a smile that lights up a room – get the metaphorical sunglasses ready! You will need to change your aligners every week, but don’t worry, you only need to come and see us every six weeks for a checkup and to get your aligners for the next six weeks.
Comfort for you
Invisalign’s aligners will be made to fit your mouth precisely using iTero technology; this is a digital scan that can be used to obtain the measurements of your mouth, to which the aligners will be manufactured in the Invisalign laboratories. Using this scan, we can also show you an animation of what your teeth will look like once your treatment is completed before you even get started on it! That’s just one of the ways we like to get you practising that beaming smile from the outset!
Convenience
Invisalign offers so much convenience for patients. You can remove the aligners for two hours every day, which means you can take them out before you eat, and you won’t have to clean off food from them, nor will you need to avoid eating any hard food! What’s more, you can also remove your aligners before you clean your teeth, and this means that you won’t have anything in your mouth to interfere with your brushing technique – just don’t forget to floss! You should also still have time to take a break from your aligners each day for anything else you want to do, such as playing sports, having a hot tub party or going skydiving – the choice is yours, wild thing!
